Now Bangla lion and Qubee has set up new concept in wireless internet in Bangladesh . This two companies are offering some packages starting from 128 kbps unlimited at 600 taka to 5mbps at 30,000 taka . But this wimax provider companies are still under developement . They are covering only a small portion of Dhaka untill now and are progressing .
Wirless Internet (broad screen browsing)that covers whole Bangladesh Now
There are five mobile network operator companies in Bangladesh , they are Grameen phone , Teletalk , Aktel , City Cell , Warid .All of this companies are providing wireless internet . Grameen Phone
Grameen phone provides wireless Internet with some decent package covering the whole Bangladesh . This is the best among any other companies in Bangladesh . There maximum speed is around 25 kbps and the fact they demand while advertising that they have covered the whole Bangladesh , is true . I personally use Grameen phone Internet , have used there service uninterrupted several times while journeying on the river or highways .They offer some decent packages starting from 405 taka including vat for 1 GB for 1 month period and 805 taka for 3 GB for 1 month period.
City Cell Zoom
The second best wireless internet in Bangladesh is city cell Zoom . They also covers the whole Bangladesh , but in some areas their network coverage is excellent and in some areas the opposite . Before taking city cell Zoom , you must first check whether your area is zoom covered .
City cell zoom provides two different option-Normal zoom (speed around 15 to 20 kbps) and zoom ultra (speed up to 512 kbps )
but this zoom ultra is available in some places of Dhaka only . City cell authority says this offer will be soon available throughout Bangladesh .
Other wireless internet operators In Bangladesh
Warid , Aktel , Teletalk , Rangstel is providing wireless internet . But they covers only some specific region and internet speed is not good enough until now .
